The most important and significant character in our opening was most definitely the villain (paedophile). This is because he was most featured and shown in the opening; therefore the best person to compare to him was another thriller that makes the villain the core to the story. Jeepers Creepers is a thriller that is based on a creep that like to kill be people for food, I thought that our character was similar to him because he is a mysterious intimidating character. We are aware that most definitely he is a bad character yet strangely we don’t hate him. They are also similar in the sense that what they look like is not revealed until the end and even the way they are dressed simple but strong. The long, flowy dark coat gives the impression that we are suppose to be afraid likewise in our opening which too does not reveal the paedophiles face.
However they’re also different too as our character is human which is what we really wanted and also be committing a realistic yet barbaric crime. On the other hand the Jeepers Creepers man is of course is undead and a cannibal. In addition the paedophile is not demon nor a devil worshipper but a human in need of help, however due not be mistaken he is a very tactful intelligent man who is aware of his sick actions.
