Se7en (Opening Credits)

This is one of the title sequences we had to analyse and I might add the most influencial as our entire project we feel is fairly similar to this. The was an inspiration to me because I felt that title sequence with the minimum amoutn of acting adn more a series of shots are more effective.

Location, Characters, Props Research

The Setting of our shoot and opening thriller had to be dark and dreary, therefore we decided to use a derelict alley or closed road. a few yards from my house was the perfect location.
However due to unforseen weather circumstances we were not able to persue this, luckily my partner Zachery Hamilton found us the perfect warehouse therfore were able to shoot.

The Characters in our Opening that we needed was the antagonist (peadaphile) as after watching a range of openings we discovered that the protagonist is not introduced until after the credits.(Se7en)
Also we wanted a couple of shots of children however we thought using children would be a little to explicit therefore had to improvise. In the end we decided that the main character was going to be the villain.

The Props we concluded to use where pictures of children and newspapers, along with this scissors as a dangerous prop to taunt the photographs with. We also used a lighter to burn a photograph to again add to the vulnerable effect of the children photos.
