The STRENGHTS of the student’s film are they has used a conventional concept and made it their own, also it has suspense and drama which makes us want to watch on and see what happens next. Furthermore the lighting is low key and mostly black and white which gives it the intense atmosphere it requires to be captivating. In addition the most significant aspect of the film is the blood dripping as it looks gothic yet not too much like horror with gore.
The WEAKNESS of the project is that it is completely in black and white but if the blood dripping had been in colour the film opening would be much more impressive. This suggesting that overall it could have been better by presenting his skills more effectively by playing around with it; as the concept also was far too used. Finally, a bit of a cliché!
